The Norwegian Folk Museum consists of a series of historical buildings dating back to the 17th century.  The buildings include barns, stables, stores and Norwegian homes.  The accompanying museum features a variety of folk art, historical artifacts, furniture, paintings and clothing.

The Norwegian Folk Museum is located on the Bygdoy Peninsula which can be reached by ferry boat from near the Radhus or by city bus from central Oslo.
